Sookio Director joins board at Cambridge 105 Radio

We’re delighted to announce that our Director, Sue Keogh, has been appointed to the board of Cambridge 105 Radio.

The station will benefit from Sue’s experiences as a producer at BBC Radio 2 and as a digital specialist at ITV and Magic FM, as well as her extensive contacts among local businesses.

"When I first started in radio we were still cutting tape with razor blades and I would often take the boxes from Cambridge down to Broadcasting House to deliver them by hand,” says Sue.

“A lot has changed since then! I've never lost my love for this medium and it's an honour to become part of the Cambridge 105 Radio board.

“I'll be drawing on all my experience in digital content and further strengthening the station's relationships with the Cambridge community and business scene."

Founding director Steve Potter said, ”As we approach our tenth year on air, we're confident that Sue’s appointment will further ensure that we're well placed to tackle the rapidly changing media landscape and adapt to the multi-platform possibilities of modern radio."

Cambridge 105 Radio is an Ofcom licenced community radio station serving the city and South Cambridgeshire online, on DAB and on 105FM. The other directors are Dr Greg Butler and Trevor Dann.
